Boot Camps
Dates and Locations:
- August 16th-20th at Green River Community College, Kent Station, Kent WA
- August 23rd- 27th at Big Bend Community College, Moses Lake WA
- September 13th – 17th at South Seattle Community College, Georgetown Campus, Seattle WA
Boot Camp – is a week-long, intensive, hands-on course for professional-technical faculty who have limited or no teaching experience. Experienced instructors/facilitators will introduce and model essential components of classroom management, adult learning, and facilitating skills*. Emphasis will be on practical and real-life applications. This course is not intended to take the place of the Professional-Technical Education (PTE) Methods of Teaching Courses - Level I & II.
Registration Information:
- Cost: $200.00
- Payment must be received by July 31st 2010 or your reservation will be dropped.
