12:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Walla Walla Community College
This workshop is based on the current Instruction
Commission and SBCTC system emphasis on ramping up educational
technology proficiency in the community and technical college
system. The training will cover educational technology for the
classroom, including but not limited to the topics of developing a
course website, wikis, blogs, podcasting, and Windows Vista.
The philosophy behind this training is that workforce administrators
need to understand current and emerging educational technology in
order to support its adoption in the classroom. As fund holders,
encouragers and supporters of faculty, as well as in their role as
liaison between IT and departments on campus, WEC members hold a key
role in ensuring the classroom technologies are current and provide
the best possible student learning opportunities.-
